The carpools are one of the best elements of a SKI BUMS winter, the stuff of easy laughter and
lifelong friendships. They're also
complicated to organize. To pull off another carpool without a
hitch, we need everyone's help.

Everyone must submit a carpool coordination form. Even if you've taken care of your own
arrangements, we need to know that you're covered.

Tips: Flexiility is GOLDEN. If, for example, you work in the city but you could depart from home
in Connecticut, please indicate your flexibility. Similarly, if you need a ride and live in Jersey
City, but you're willing to meet someone at the PATH Station in Manhattan, please say so.
Providing
options makes everyone happier.

On renting cars: if we do not have enough car-owners for our carpool, we may ask a few
volunteers to rent cars / SUV's. Please indicate if you're willing to rent a vehicle or 'chip-in' to
help pay for one.
Take note: SKI BUMS cannot guarantee the number of riders that you'll have,
so you may not want to rent a vehicle until you know how many riders can contribute to your
cost. You'll have that information 2 weeks prior to our trip.

How the assignments work: SKI BUMS will provide the carpool details to all our trips'
participants two weeks prior to departure. You'll receive an email with the names, phone
numbers, email addresses and preferred pickup locations of the others in your carpool. It's your
responsibility to contact one another and set up your plan for the day.
