Snowbird, Utah
This trip is all about the morning.  After a daily free hot buffet breakfast at our hotel, we'll be
boarding our cars & SUV's to shoot for the mountain in time for first chair. And, from there...
it's all about
the snow. Utah is famous for it, and if you've never experienced Utah's famous
"champagne powder," mid-March is an ideal time. The base is deep, new snowfalls are
common, and it's often so mild in the valley that it feels like spring.

If you've never skied or boarded in Utah, you should. Alta and Snowbird offer some of
America's most challenging terrain, while Solitude and Brighton enjoy uncrowded slopes and
no lift lines. Your 3-day ticket is good for any of the four resorts. Expect a
great workout,
because Utah will challenge you.

In the evenings, we'll be keeping things
old-school, low-key and fun, with cheap restaurant
suggestions, a trip to a microbrewery, maybe some good ol' fashioned card games, before
hittin the hay. When you're skiing and riding this hard, you sleep like a
rock! For those who
are jonesin' for some local gay culture, you can hit up one of the  gay haunts on Saturday
night and flirt with the locals. :)

Car rentals:  To give ourselves as much mobility as possible, we are organizing car / SUV
rentals for this trip. After signing up, SKI BUMS will help arrange them, and ask for
volunteers to drive. Each participant should budget about $125 for the car rentals + gas.

*Value option: If you prefer to book your own airfare, select the value option. We will
provide you with our flight information
upon request, so you may join our carpool to our
hotel. If your flight is delayed, however, you will need to arrange your own transfer to the
hotel (free shuttle service is provided). With this option, SKI BUMS cannot refund any
unused portions of your trip due to delayed arrival or early departure. There are a limited
number of spots available at this price.

Equipment rental: If you would like to rent equipment, we will provide names and
locations of recommended equipment rental shops in Salt Lake City.

Roommates: After signing up for this trip, you may make request to share a room with
someone. If no request is made, SKI BUMS will arrange a roommate for you. We tend to put
people together who are around the same age.

Single-occupancy: There may be single occupancy spots available for an upgrade charge.
Email us to check for availability.

A note on airline seat assignments: Because we buy our airfare through special group
fares (which, unlike published fares, allow you to secure a seat without paying the full ticket
price), you may not make seat assignment requests.

Cancellations: We invite you to read our cancellation policy.
