Go north for four days of fun at KILLINGTON, VERMONT!

About four hours and forty five minutes north of Manhattan, America's largest ski resort in the East sprawls
across seven mountain peaks. It's got 200 distinct trails, 32 lifts, and a mega 1,250 acres of skiable terrain.
The longest trail is ten and a half miles long. This is
Killington, and it's the Vermont resort of choice for the
2008 SKI BUMS Season.

Escape with us from Thursday, January 31 to Sunday, February 3

Every winter, SKI BUMS orchestrates a mass exodus out of the city (and points beyond) to converge at a
resort in Vermont, and these weekends have become famous for a few things. One, it's the chance to spend
three uninterrupted days of skiing and boarding -- an escape to the mountains that easily makes you forget
the city. And two, the opportunity to get to know people in a way that you just can't when you're simply
hanging out at a bar. Every year, the BUMS arrive in Vermont with folks they've only briefly met, and return
home with a new group of great friends. It's an adventurous weekend...

and all the more so when you're in a place like
Killington.
If you're a beginner or intermediate skier or boarder, you'll be
in heaven at Killington. There's simply so much terrain, it's impossible to
get bored. Plus, the instructors are top-notch, and nothing helps you
have more fun than gaining skills and confidence with three solid days to
tear through the snow. Advanced folks are given a fun dose of challenge,
too, with a full 30% of the terrain marked with black diamonds. No
matter what your skill level, you're gonna
love this terrain.

Chill out with the BUMS in our comfy condos on Killington's property

After an exhilarating day on the slopes, relax in style at
the Pinnacle Condos, the comfy owner-operated condos
just a short drive from the Killington lifts. Each unit
features a full kitchen, gas fireplace, washer & dryer,
TV, DVD / VCR, and free WiFi. All our units are within
easy walking distance of one another.

You'll also enjoy the fantastic Pinnacle Spa, an indoor
recreational facility with a bar, a workout room, game
room, TV lounge, sauna, steam room, and two hot tubs!

SKI BUMS coordinates all the details, from condo assignments to our carpool

If you've ever tried to plan a ski weekend with friends, you know what a hassle it can be to coordinate
everything. That's one of the best things about SKI BUMS; we'll take care of all the details for you. :)

Condo assignments

About half of our trip participants sign up for our weekends in
Vermont without knowing others who are going. SKI BUMS assigns
you to a unit based on your
preferences, and we've built quite a
successful recipe for matching up folks who hit it off! Just check out
our trip pictures from our last trip to Killington. In those pics, they
were meeting each other for the first time. Two years later, they're
some of each other's best friends. Honestly, that's the best thing
about SKI BUMS.

If, however, you've already got a group who you know would like
to share a condo, we can set that up for you, too. We'll simply ask
you to coordinate your units by
December 30th.

As for the arrangements, our units are a combination of 4-person and 6-person units. There are
individual beds for everyone, and while most participants will have a roommate, you're welcome to
request your own room for a supplement.

Carpool details - be prepared to leave by noon on Thursday

Although Killington runs a free shuttle bus between our condos and the base areas of Killington, we've
learned that having cars up there is the best way to go. So, we organize a carpool for all our trip
participants.

If you're signing up for our trip to Killington,
you should be prepared to leave NYC by noon on
Thursday, January 31st.
(If you're joining us from outside the NYC area, plan to be at Killington by 6
PM). SKI BUMS coordinates a carpool based on numerous factors; it's a complicated piece of social
engineering, but we enjoy it!
Thursday night welcome party, Friday night cookoff in our condos, Saturday night party.
