New for 2010, SKI BUMS is sponsoring official house parties in cities across the country. For those of you who live outside NYC or DC, it's another awesome way to meet the coolest LGBT skiers and snowboarders in your area... and get the inside scoop on SKI BUMS trips from members who have taken them. On November 22nd, we hosted parties in Atlanta, Denver, Miami and Los Angeles... and they were awesome!

Imagine walking into a gay bar and seeing dozens of people who you already know. It's a rare thing, and it's what makes SKI BUMS social events so unique. Our events are the chance to meet the BUMS both before and after our trips, then maintain friendships all season long.

Meet the skiers and boarders who you'll be tearing up the mountains alongside this winter. And then, after a trip, reconnect with all your new friends and maintain those new friendships all season long. This is Avalanche, and it's our ongoing party for SKI BUMS and friends. It's a come-as-you-are, relaxed evening at a local bar, and it's the perfect way to check out SKI BUMS and get a good sense of what we're all about.
BIG NEWS: We're super excited to announce that this fall, SKI BUMS will be hosting our popular monthly party, Avalanche, in another new city: Los Angeles! With more and more members joining from the Southern California area, we know that it's time to help you all start to meet one another. It's the beginning of a new local chapter for LA, and we can't wait to invite the coolest skiers & boarders in LA to come join the SKI BUMS fun!

Big thanks to Neil and Stephen for hosting, and for everyone who brought beer, burgers and fantastic friends! We were surprised with an Aspen-raised reality TV star showed up... want to guess who it was?
