Due to the limited number of beginner trails, SKI BUMS does not recommend this trip for
beginner skiers or snowboarders. Instead, please consider our trip to Lake Tahoe.

Interest in Vail is sky high! It was our most-requested trip during our survey last year. Vail
was just ranked the #1 resort in North America by SKI Magazine. It's no surprise; Vail is huge
(check out their trail map), and they've just completed a new renovation. Plus, the snow is
already falling; they just got over 2 feet of snow in 24 hours!
We're staying at condos in Vail village, about a five-minute walk to the lifts. Come away with
SKI BUMS on a vacation to one of the world's very best ski resorts!
A note on the backcountry tour: after signups come in, we'll check to see if any of our
participants have backcountry training and experience. For those who do, SKI BUMS will help
coordinate a private backcountry group tour with a local guide. If others would like to arrange
for a tour of the resort with a private guide or instructor, we can also assist in coordinating.
*Value option: If you prefer to book your own airfare, select the value option. We will
provide you with our flight information upon request, so you may join our private coach to /
from Vail. If your flight is delayed, however, you will need to arrange your own transfer for
the 2 1/2 hour ride to Vail. With this option, SKI BUMS cannot refund any unused portions of
your trip due to delayed arrival or early departure. There are a limited number of spots
available at this price.
Equipment rental: If you would like to rent equipment, we will provide names and locations
of recommended equipment rental shops at Vail.
Roommates: After signing up for this trip, you may make request to share a room with
someone. If no request is made, SKI BUMS will arrange a roommate for you. We tend to put
people together who are around the same age.
Single-occupancy: There may be single occupancy spots available for an upgrade charge.

A note on airline seat assignments: Because we buy our airfare through special group
fares (which, unlike published fares, allow you to secure a seat without paying the full ticket
price), you may not make seat assignment requests.
